Small Acts, Big Hearts 🐾

With the change of seasons, we’ve also changed our feeding schedule — a little earlier some days, a little later on others — depending on the weather and how the dogs and cats are doing. I didn’t realize how noticeable that was until recently.

About ten days ago, one of my elderly neighbours stopped me and said how relieved he was to see me. He asked if I was still feeding the animals because he hadn’t seen me for a while and was worried something had happened. I smiled and explained that yes, we still feed them every single day — just at different times now. He was so kind and happy to hear that.

A few days later, another neighbor asked the same. Then, three days ago, I got a call from a lovely lady who used to be quite afraid of the stray dogs — and she too wanted to make sure they were still being fed!

Moments like these mean a lot to me. To know that not only the animals are cared for, but that people around us notice and genuinely care too. Compassion truly spreads quietly, and I’m so proud to see it growing here. ❤️
