Sometimes compassion shows up from the least expected places ๐พ
Almost two weeks ago, one of our pack members got into a fight and ended up with a deep gash just under his eye. Early that morning, I received a call from one of our neighbours โ a man whoโs not usually fond of animals โ letting me know what happened. I rushed out immediately and found the poor boy wagging his tail, happy to see me despite the pain.
I cleaned the wound with saline solution and applied a topical antibiotic every day for ten days. Thankfully, heโs now fully healed and no longer in pain.
What really touched my heart wasnโt just how brave he was, but how that neighbour, who never seemed to care much for dogs before, was genuinely worried and wanted to make sure the boy got help. Small moments like these remind me that compassion can grow anywhere โ sometimes, it just needs the right moment to appear. โค๏ธ
