Why We Illustrate Our Mission
As we celebrate our first year online, many of you have asked why our website is filled with colorful illustrations instead of the photos of suffering animals often seen in animal welfare.
The answer is simple: We believe in the power of dignity.
As an animal lover, I know how heartbreaking it is to see a creature in pain. While many use those images to pull at heartstrings for donations, we choose a different path. We believe that using an animal’s most vulnerable moments to collect money can feel like a second form of exploitation.
Our illustrations* represent our vision: a world where animals are safe, happy, and loved. We want to protect your feelings as much as we protect them. By using art, we invite you into a space of hope and action, rather than a place of sadness and distress. Thank you for walking this compassionate path with us for the past year!

* Using the power of A.I, and a process called “IMG2IMG”, we take real photos of the animals we help in the streets, and use Stable Diffusion models to create the artistic & colorful images you see on the website & social media posts.
