With most of the dogs in my area now safe, fixed, and stable, it felt like the right time to take the next step and expand our work a little further.
I recently started monitoring a new nearby area, and after a few days of observation, I counted 11 dogs in total: 6 females and 5 males.
Two of the females had just given birth, so they were not touched. Their priority right now is recovery and caring for their puppies, and we will return to them when the time is right.
The remaining four females were taken for TNR, and I’m happy to share that they came back today safely fixed and vaccinated against rabies. Seeing them return calm, healthy, and protected is always a moment of relief and quiet joy.
This step means fewer future litters, healthier dogs, and a more stable pack, not just in my area, but beyond it.
One area at a time, slowly and responsibly, this is how real change happens.
