Fostering a Blind Kitten: A Month of Care and Learning
September 2025
When we found a tiny blind kitten in the garden, I wasn’t sure how much I could do. With no shelter space available until he finished his vaccines, fostering became the only option. At first, it was challenging — he was fussy with food, didn’t know how to use the litter box, and accidents were everywhere.
Today, he eats well, uses his litter, and plays with the sweetest little energy. this kitten is on his way to being fully vaccinated and a safe life at the shelter. Until then, he is part of our family, reminding us daily that compassion makes a difference.
One month of fostering = A lifetime of safety.
