Another Step Forward in Our TNR Journey
September 2025

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) continues to be one of the most important parts of protecting stray dogs in our area. Each time we complete a TNR program, we move closer to fewer unwanted litters and healthier street dogs.

What We Did:

  • Trapped and neutered 2 more dogs this week โ€” 1 female and 1 male.
  • Provided them with safe recovery time after surgery.
  • Returned them to their familiar environment, stronger and safer.

What Happened:

  • Both dogs are now safe from future reproduction and the risks it brings.
  • The female dog in particular received the gift of health, as spaying reduces many life-threatening risks.
  • Their community will now see fewer puppies born to struggle on the streets.

What I Learned:

  • Every single TNR, no matter how small, has an impact.
  • Funding it personally is challenging, but the results remind me itโ€™s worth it.
  • Each dog treated brings us closer to long-term balance for the strays.

This marks our [fourth] successful TNR round this year. A small step โ€” but every step matters. Together, we can create safer lives for stray animals through compassion and action.
